About us
Ojai Brush Clearance is a local fire-clearance company for the Ojai Valley. We clear brush, weeds, and ladder fuels so hillside homes can meet Ventura County Fire’s 100-foot defensible space rules.
We are not a lawn service and we are not a county inspector. Work is done by licensed local crews who already know chaparral, oak woodland, and the June 1 Fire Hazard Reduction Program calendar.

If your notice is from the City of Ventura’s own fire program, that is a different map. This site is the valley: Ojai and the communities along the 33 and into Upper Ojai.
How we quote
Photos help. An address and a slope description help more. We walk the 100-foot zone, mark what comes out, and send a scope that includes chip vs haul.
What we will not do
We will not remove a protected Ojai oak without the right permit. We will not scrape a hillside to dirt so it erodes in the first storm. The C.R.E.W. free program is for qualifying seniors, veterans, low-income, and disabled residents — if that is you, use them. We exist for owners who need a paying crew and a callback.
